Immanuel Lutheran has a long history of excellence in music and since 2002 has encouraged and supported organ students through an annual scholarship award utilizing an audition process that seeks out the most excellent talent.

The organ scholar program is supported through the Music Outreach Endowment Fund of Immanuel Congregation that was created to reach out into the community with musically enriched worship services, community concerts, educational programs, scholarships, and partnerships with professional musicians.

The organ scholar program is an investment in the vocational lives of musicians that will benefit the whole Church.

Scholarship winners give a concert on Immanuel’s Tracker organ for the whole Evanston community.
