Vincent Dubois is titular organist at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, France, where he serves alongside Olivier Latry and Philippe Lefebvre. He is also Professor of organ interpretation and improvisation at the Hochschule für Musik (University of Music), Saarbrücken, Germany.
- He is recognized for his mastery of the French organ tradition and his ability to create rich tonal colors and complex phrasing.
- He is also known for his improvisational skills, which are important for Notre-Dame’s liturgical music.
- Dubois has given masterclasses at institutions like Yale University, Oberlin College, and the Curtis Institute of Music.

Katie Gunn was recently appointed Associate Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas. This spring, she graduated from Indiana University with a master’s in organ performance as a student of Dr. Christopher Young. She completed her undergraduate studies in organ and church music with Dr. Catherine Rodland at St. Olaf College. She previously served as Director of Music at Church of the Nativity (Episcopal) in Indianapolis and at All Saints Episcopal Church in Northfield, Minnesota. In 2022 and 2023, Katie was the Summer Organ Intern on Squirrel Island, Maine.
Katie won first prizes in the 2023 National Undergraduate Organ Competition and in the 2022 Twin Cities American Guild of Organists Student Competition. Katie grew up in Indianapolis and was a chorister at Christ Church Cathedral. She is married to Luke Sargent, a trumpet player. Katie enjoys reading and cycling in her spare time.

David Devine is a junior organ performance student at the University of Iowa. At Iowa, he studies under Dr. Gregory Hand. Prior to college, he studied under Dr. Max Yount. David stays active as a performer, and recently gave solo recitals in Iowa and Wisconsin. This summer, he performed at the 2025 Oregon Bach Festival, where he played in masterclasses with Paul Jacobs.

An Afternoon of French Vocal Selections

Hansol Kim is our 2024 Graduate Award Recipient. Originally from Busan, South Korea, Hansol Kim is a passionate organist, choral accompanist, conductor, and church musician. She began studying piano at the age of five and discovered the majestic sound of the organ at thirteen, sparking a lifelong love for sacred music. Hansol is currently a graduate student at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she studies organ under Dr. Janette Fishell and sacred music and improvisation with Dr. Jeffrey Smith. Additionally, she has been a recipient of the Chairman’s Scholar Award Fellowship, The Robert C. Rayfield Memorial Scholarship, and the Wilma Jensen Scholarship from the Jacobs School of Music.
As a performer, her achievements include winning first prize in the Fox Valley Organ Competition and Strader Organ Competition and second prize in the Sursa American Competition. She was also a finalist in the Asia Organ Competition and a semi-finalist in the International Alexander Goedicke Organ Competition in Russia.
Hansol’s deep passion for the organ and sacred music has led her to serve as the organist and Assistant Music Director at First United Church in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, she brings both brilliance and dedication, leading the bell choir and assisting the Music Director by rehearsing and conducting the choir. Her connection to the church community runs deep, and she finds immense fulfillment in using her musical gifts to inspire and uplift others.
